This fabulous hidden gem is often overlooked as a place to visit in South Yorkshire.
A mixed terrain 6.55 mile loop provides a great course, with runners enjoying the beautiful countryside that changes alongside the season. The hills will test the legs but clearly the surrounding beauty makes the endurance worth it as runners return year in and year out. A little later in the calendar means runners will get to enjoy the changes brought about by Autumn, beautiful colours in a stunning landscape. The vast paths mean a much easier approach to the staggered start with all runners in each distance able to be out within 10 minutes .
Registration takes place in the Travellers Rest Pub Brookhouse S25 1YA, the start of the race been from the same place. There is ample parking on site.
Whilst Covid doesn't allow us to do our usual spread of cakes food will be available in the pub for runners to enjoy after their race.
