Bingley Christmas Canal Race

As Covid 19 continues to throw us challenges a last minute change is required and a need to move our Christmas event from Elsecar to 'Bingley'. 'With fabulous tow paths and a few cheeky locks to test those legs 'Bingley' is sure to be a great venue for us and one that will become a regular Grim spot !!
Races will start and finish from the fisherman's pub on the canal and venture out towards Skipton. The route is by and large flat and good underfoot with the small challenge of the 3 and 5 rise locks, there is however still a great opportunity for a PB.
Can all participants be aware that whilst the medal is Christmassy and awesome it was originally meant for Elsecar so a little imagination may be required !, everyone will receive extra chocolate to make up for it .
Please be aware that if required (due to Covid 19) a staggered approach to start times will be used and this may mean start times may deviate from those stated by up to 30 minutes.
