good fun
Only disappointing part was that I believe we walked over the start line about 4 minutes before the start of the race walking backwards to get in position. I believe this is when it started recording our start time so our official time for the event was a few minutes out

First time Grimmer- loved it
I've spectated many events and did my first one today. Love the low key nature of the event - turn up, loads of parking at Morrisons, wander to the start, friendly marshals on the course and I did a PB.
I'll be back!

Enjoyable but felt less organised as previous
The organisation of the race information could be improved. While the process for number collection was well-organised and efficient, pre-race communication was lacking. Joining the Facebook group did not provide necessary details, leading to confusion about tasks such as collecting race numbers across the road. Although I understand that info is no longer sent, the absence of clear, prominent information on the dedicated Facebook group made the overall experience feel a little disorganised and there was no one to ask. Despite these issues, the event itself was still enjoyable

Great flat run and perfect weather today. Beautiful views along the run and loved how well organised the pacing of each event was.
I had my family with as spectators - perhaps a few more food options (there was a coffee van; we would definitely have bought a bacon butty for the family while I was running) and suggestions of where spectators could sit along the run (e.g. there was a boat selling baked potatoes a bit further along the run - could have been a nice spot for spectators to sit)
From a running perspective - I absolutely loved it and and achieved a time I haven't reached in a long time.
