The 5k Entry fee could be cheaper. As someone not done this event before. I think a sign on the T junction before you get to the Transpania way as I thought you follow the road going around anther runner who lives nearby said to me, you go along the path to the marshal. Everything else was fine.

Fantastic goodies and snacks available after the run to refuel. Great organisation and friendly volunteers.

Long queue for registration - took about 20 minutes to get to table. Maybe different queue for different distances (but I suppose that depends of help you get)

The event was very friendly and I enjoyed the route. It was lovely to have a selection of food & drink afterwards to enjoy with the other runners.
The only negative, was that the turnoff point to come off the TransPennine trail was not marshalled and only had a small arrow made out of 2 pieces of tape so I ended up running further than needed :(

Really enjoyed this one. It is a out and back, I did the 10 mile and found it easier to do 5 out and 5 back. There was friendly marshals on the route with plenty of drinks and sweets! Cake at the end was extremely welcomed

My first “official” race! Much less intimidating than a “big city” event, really friendly and well organised, would do again.

Didn’t seem to be too many participants so perhaps needed more advertising

Medal not “bespoke” didn’t mention Hull at all just a pic of runners so could have been a race anywhere

Organised well, Marshalls where there are corners and turn around. Fab medals and snacks as usual. Just too hot but the weather can’t be helped!
