The organisation and atmosphere at Grim Up North events is always superb. I love going to run with them and the treats and bling at the end is unbeatable!

Same has a previous runner,no arrow to turn right back over the bridge,Run director did mention it in the briefing,but forgot all about it,I will be returning.

i did the 6.7 miler and loved it i did 49 mins and finished 2nd i love Grim Up North running events the winner in the 6.7 miler i remember him from Huddersfield marathon years ago i will always do Grim races if nothing else on

I unfortunately had to pull out of the marathon today due injury at the half way stage, The events team were great, checked if I was ok (slight calf tear) and downgraded me to a half marathon so I could still see my results and get my medal. Great event, thank you!

My first IGUN event and loved the flat course. Great to run alongside the canal.

This was a changed venue. I liked the changed route but missed out on a bit of hill work which I had hoped to get when I entered the original event at Temple Newsam but these things happen and it did not ruin my enjoyment of the day!

One criticism was the lack of a clear marker on the return leg where you were meant to turn left. I missed it and went over a bridge….when I realised (along with another runner) I turned round probably adding a couple of minutes to my overall time. Never mind
