Great organisation & fantastic staff - really helpful. Runs are great for a fun style run with some great senary! Love doing these.

Course was flat along the canal. 2.5k x4 times. Not many runners attended. Only needed 1 Marshall at the turn round point. Monotonous and no water at 5k point. Much needed in summer. Friendly and low key, if your a beginner a nice little run.

Not only are they the best events going, but they cater for all ages and abilities. I will always be in the last 10 or 15 to finish, but the Grim Up North Team are as enthusiastic and lovely with the tail enders as they are with the elite and intermediate. As the better runners are on their way back and pass the other runners, they still give words of encouragement to keep the slower one's going. A great running community and a great organisation.
