Results are a bit confusing the way times were listed. Couldn't see my overall position and being an older runner I normally compare my performance to similar aged runners.
I fell while doing the race and my knee was bleeding so I was looking for a first aider at the finish and didn't see one. However, after cleaning my injury in the swimming pool building I was satisfied I had got it properly cleaned. But I had nothing to dress it with.

Always a really welcoming atmosphere at these events for runners of all abilities. Settle is a great place to have an excuse to visit as well! 10k was well marked out and marshalled, great event over all ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Nice run, lovely people !
Could the half marathon just go further out rather than having the out & back bit … I nearly ran past the lady marshalling as it wasn’t totally clear she was the turn point.
Also would be great to know we could've used the swimming pool facilities up front, especially in weather like yesterdays :-)
Big thanks to everyone that stood out in that awful weather so we could run !

Our second it’s grim up north event and it was absolutely brilliant! Everyone so friendly, fantastic scenery, well organised, GREAT medal and loads of treats at the end! We will be signing up for another as soon as we can!

Great Race
Having moved from the south in the last few months I was looking to do some runs and came across this one on Friday, booking was easy, people were friendly, well organised, scenery great, medal was great,food was a nice touch, maybe a T-shirt would be an idea going forward. Will be doing more runs this year. Thanks to all volunteers today.

It's an out and back course. There were a few hills to get through. Great atmosphere with people cheering each other on

A great event could not be dulled even by the terrible weather. The final medal could have been more individual to Settle itself rather than a generic Grim Yorkshire one, but everything else was fantastic including the amazing bacon butties!

Great race. Well organised. Good location. The only thing that would turn it from good to great is if they provided water in bottles for the HM rather than you carrying your own bottle for 13 miles.
