My first event with Grim Up North ... really friendly atmosphere and great organisation! Definitely recommend to others and will be hunting out more events :-)

Fantastic organisation. Plenty of choice of drinks essential on a hot day. Tasty and nourishing snacks at regularly spaced aid stations ran by enthusiastic and friendly volunteers.

Had a great day and really enjoyed my first race with you!

You did ask for feedback and so the only thing I would say is a few people mentioned that the distance were out slighly.

My 10km came in at 10.5km on both my watch and Strava and a few others I spoke too said similar.

Literally the only constructive criticism I would give but everything else was spot on

Beautiful and challenging route. Some really friendly and supportive marshalls and a nice atmosphere. A little difficult locating the registration point and long gaps between marshall points could be an issue for beginners but all in all a great event

Could do with a sign from the pavement for the registration as not obvious where the entrance was!

This 5km race suits a range of runners from those who are new to running to those who want a faster pace. It's friendly, well organised and the medal is great!

Generally lovely staffing team. Could perhaps do with a bit of welcoming guidance in registration area as to where to go and time of briefing etc.

Wasn’t aware there would be hotdogs so had only put gluten free in dietary notes, not vegetarian and gluten free, asked the person serving if by chance the veggie sausages were gf and was quickly told no gf bread, asked if gf sausages were meat and response was a rather rude shrug and ‘I dunno’ without any move to look under the foil, they then immediately turned away as if I’d asked something outrageous

Great offering of refreshments ! Loved the route and staff all very friendly.
