Really enjoyed this race, good scenery, friendly, well marshaled or signed, loads of cakes and drinks at the end and good bling. Good parking and toilet facilities here too.
Bit of a queue for race numbers which meant people having to jump the queue to get to the start on time. Maybe sectioning it into 2 or 3 alphabetically would help.

A safe environment to push yourself. Super friendly and there’s a medal (bonus)

Only thing that proved slightly difficult was that the marathon runners were trying to get through the 5 milers. Whilst I didn't hear of any collisions, it could have been otherwise - the narrower paths and lots of runners could have been a recipe for disaster.

It was hiller than I expected, but I enjoyed it very much. Thank you.

This course has a good mix of trail, flat and hill. Everyone was very supportive and friendly. It would be better if the start/turn/endpoint was a run-through rather than crossing the line and turning round - we turned right into the faces of a couple of 10 mile finishers and nearly had a pile up. Also, the 5 milers set off a couple of minutes before us, causing lots of congestion on the woodland path. An earlier start for the marathon could resolve this and make race finishes a bit closer together. Overall though, a great race

Good local race. Nice route. Friendly team. Decent selection of cake - do miss the cake kebabs tho!

Only downside- the 5mile race started first causing gridlock carnage and at the start when longer distances ast off just after and runners have to overtake. Plus it means there’s less runners around to cheer and support for those doing longer distances when they finish.

Having not done a Grim event for a while, it was good to be back! A great event! Thank you!

A great course, a bit of everything for a trail run.
Friendly and fun, oh, and the best bit, cakes and drinks after. The rhubarb cake was amazing.
Not forgetting the lovely medal x

I love this event the only issues I have are it’s too busy at start and finish. The people that have finished are in the way of the people that are doing extra miles. The cake table would have been better further back. Everyone is so friendly as always XXX
