A scenic and challenging track!
I Really enjoyed this 3 laps track around Temple Newsam. It’s challenging with different terrains and a few steep spots. Gorgeous scenery. The team were lovely & smiley and the Marshalls were outstanding! Will defo do it again!

Very good nice steady course. But it is 10.7 km
Overall very good. Should just say we were told to be there to register for 7:30 . But there were no toilets opened till7:45 which for some of us 15 mins too late

If you like hilly routes, this one's for you.
Well signposted, varied and hilly route. 4 laps for the marathon, tough but enjoyable day out.

Glorious run, stunning scenery, gorgeous weather
Chemaine Moon
A brilliant albeit hilly mega course! Great day out for sure!
Views, atmosphere and awesome people! Thank you so much to the marshalls who really make the event what it is. Awesome.
Pain is temporary, but the medal and Strava bragging rights are forever! Thank you Team Grim and to all the fellow runners who cheered me on around the course. We have the best sport in the world.

Great organisation and fantastic cheerleaders
This was a well signposted event. Really enjoyed the route, especially around all the grounds of Temple Newsam. The water feature in the bluebell wood was interesting to negotiate but also a welcome rest. Thank you for a great race.
Chioma Maduka
It was a very hilly route but I enjoyed the downhills
There is always a lot of food with Grims events

Great, relaxed event as always. Thank you Grim.
Thank you to all the Marshalls cheering us on.

Excellent location, excellent route
Another great day out with the Grim Team, a great location, friendly marshals and a well signed route. Nice atmosphere, friendly runners and well organised A+

Stunning course through beautiful grounds.
Fantastic three lap race that made the long run feel achievable. Special shout out to Hannah for being a super sensitive Marshall and recognising that I needed support. Thank you. I will definitely be signing up for more Grim Up North events. Oh and you always get a fab medal too!

Brilliant event well organised, great aid stations and lovely atmosphere
Would love to come back sometime have another go
Brutal Hills but breathtakingly beautiful
This was my first time at a Grim up North event and it did not disappoint!!
All the stewards were so friendly and helpful and registration was a breeze!!
The course was well signposted with marshalls (actually they were cheerleaders!!) at different points!!
The snacks and water stations were well located with a great selection!
Now, I remember visiting TN as a child but how did I not remember how hilly it was!!!! My golly gosh it tested the lungs and legs, but it was so, so worth it! Such a stunning route around the grounds and through the most incredible bluebell woods!!!
A Freddo at the finish line (plus much more) was an elite finishing scooby snack!
Absolutely loved it, thank you!!

Hilly but a great morning.
First time running with Grim and I had such a lovely morning. Very well organised and whilst it's a hilly course, you do get to see the best bits of TN. Fabulous spread of goodies at the end too. Thanks all!
Andrea Hirst
Hilly route, lovely marshalls
Found the route tough due to no supporters on route and not many runners to keep you going especially in later stages. Aid station at mid point was great.
Tough but great
Just like all the Grim events, this was friendly and well organised. The route was hilly but very pretty. Excited to do it again next year!
