Yet again another great well run event
Good scenic & challenging route
The route was lovely and scenic but with a couple of challenging hills.
I was running the marathon and on more that one occasion the feed station at the start/finish line was not adequately stocked, one lap there was no water in the jugs, another lap the snack tray was empty.
Also, I did notice a few runners cutting corners on the route which was frustrating to see.
Lovely scenery and a friendly atmosphere as always- well done Grim.An ex

A great day out.
Great trail run. Something for all abilities. Would definitely recommend this event.
It was a tough run, lots of long draggy hills but also plenty of flat and it was good to be on mixed terrain. Friendly Marshalls on the way. Always lots of lovely treats at the end (though usually I haven’t got the stomach for them!)
One part of the course was nearly impassable with a large area of water and mud - had to pick our way over on thin planks - it was a bit dodgy and I ended up with very wet feet

Stunning trail race

The 20 miler was great for marathon preparation
Sally Ann Polkey
A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Route well sign posted and a number of marshals offering refreshments and sweets along the route. They were so encouraging and the lady I saw on the way out and back at the crossroads deserves a special mention - we
Great medal as always - highly recommend any of The Grim up North races

Fantastic event as always from Grim. Everyone super friendly, I met so many wonderful people today. Shout out to the two ladies who travelled from Derby for their first Grim event, I am sure it won't be their last. Loved high fiving other runners on cours

Lovely course and really enjoyed the marathon
My only issue would be having to refill the water up and then require a few kms to get going again after a stop.everything else was brilliant about this event and really enjoyed it.

Great scenery, well organized. Not my first event with Grim and certainly won't be my last!
